The Driver family can trace its roots back to the mid 19th century when they first started serving the local community with a grocery shop in the market town of Ibstock, then later in Leicester.

The family started producing pickles to sell in its shop around 1902, the demand was such that in 1906 Drivers Pickle & Vinegar was established by Frederick Charles Driver. Its main business was producing Pickled Onions and selling Malt Vinegar to local fishmongers and to other grocery shops around Leicester.

The company grew steadily throughout the 20th century and now sells over 50 products throughout the UK and to oth

er countries around the world.

Today the company is owned by the 4th generation of Driver’s. We take pride in that the products today are still made from the same recipes as in Frederick’s era.
